Walnut Fly Tyer’s Net
Calling all anglers!
Welcome to another unique creation from Wayward Trading Post. Today, I'm excited to present our latest one-off net available for auction, crafted here in our Pennsylvania woodshop. I'm Tina Lewis, artist and owner of Wayward Trading Post, where we craft beautiful, functional tools for your fly fishing adventures.
This net features an assortment of hand-selected flies, captured in a gorgeous walnut frame. The rich, earthy tones of walnut truly embody the feeling of fall, bringing warmth to the piece. For woodworkers like myself, walnut is special—a wood that gets chosen when we want our work to truly shine. I've paired this frame with the design of our Fat Jake model, bending the hoop just right to highlight its natural beauty.
Autumn is in full swing, and this net celebrates that spirit with craftsmanship and artistry. If you’d like to have a net customized with your own selection of flies, you can reach out by calling the shop or through the link in our bio.
Wayward Trading Post is my passion project—building wood fly fishing nets that reflect both art and practicality. Our nets are handcrafted, and each is created with care to honor your catch. To learn more about me and my journey in woodworking, you can check out the "Our Story" page on our website.
